Obtained from the fibre of cashmere goats, it is unique from other yarns in that it provides good warmth and insulation despite its most celebrated qualities — it is both soft and lightweight. Cashmere comes from the undergrowth underbelly of the cashmere goat. Cashmere fibres are actually cylindrical hairs that can be processed into yarn and used for weaving and knitting, into garments as its own fibre or blended with other high end natural fibres for luxury and couture knitwear. Once collected the cashmere fibre needs to be combed and sorted by hand to separate the coarser protective top coat from the soft undercoat used in textiles. This makes cashmere an extremely rare fibre, and its availability is often scarce — making it a premium fibre.
Natural wool is the fiber obtained from sheep and other animals. For example cashmere and the mohair of goats, Qiviut of muskoxen, angora of rabbits, and Camelid wool. Sheep wool is the most preferred because it has important physical properties distinguish it from camel hair, goat hair, and others. The wool is consists of protein with a low proportion of fat.

Blending , in yarn production, process of combining fibres of different origins, length, thickness, or colour to make yarn. Blending is accomplished before spinning and is performed to impart such desirable characteristics as strength or durability, to reduce cost by combining expensive fibres with less costly types, or to achieve special colour or texture effects. Fabrics made from such fibres are called blends. Blending also refers to the process of combining small amounts of the same fibre taken from different lots to achieve a uniform result. As with many discoveries of early man, anthropologists believe the use of wool came out of the challenge to survive. In seeking means of protection and warmth, humans in the Neolithic Age wore animal pelts as clothing. Finding the pelts not only warm and comfortable but also durable, they soon began to develop the basic processes and primitive tools for making wool. By B.
